Late last year, I experienced firsthand the importance of our state-of-the-art medicine, a well-functioning healthcare system, hospital and multi-disciplinary team. Of tailored screening programs and top-notch medical imaging as well. I am very fortunate that a dreadful and intense journey has culminated into an efficacious intervention, which after full recovery and closure, mostly leaves me with gratitude.
